One of the so-called secrets of mail order is to create your own info products. This way you have complete control over what you're selling. If you don't have any experience at creating information products, here's a simple way to create your own in-demand products for mail order and MLM dealers.
There is certain information that anyone starting a mail order or MLM business needs in order to get their business going. Some examples are--typesetting, printing, advertising, toll free and fax-on-demand services, the Internet, computer software, etc.
Here's what you can do to help our new dealers and also make extra money with your own simple info products. And it will only cost a few dollars to get started.
First, sit down and make a list of everything that you can think of that someone would need to start their own mail order business, such as some of the items mentioned above. Next, get a list of several inner circle mail order publications.
Now, what you want to do is look through mail order publications for free and special offers and discounts on the products and services that new dealers need to start their business. Put these special offers under the proper heading, such as--discount printing, discount advertising, discount print and mail, discount typesetting and PRESTO! You have an in-demand info product to sell.
You want your new info product to look professional, so have it typeset, and have a nice cover page made up for it.
I know that this little project can work for you because I've done it, offering free and discount offers on advertising. Of course you won't get rich with this little project, but it will help you learn how to create your own info product ad you'll have a product that you can sell to new dealers who want to save money on these services.
You can market your new info product by placing small ads in mail order trade publications. The cost will depend on the value of the information you are offering. I recommend selling this information direct from your small ad and asking for $1 to $5. This way you can build your list of customers, who are also buyers, which gives you another valuable product that you can sell--a mailing listing of buyers, not just inquirers.
This is an excellent, easy way to create info products and you'll always have a market to sell to because there are so many people trying to break into the mail order industry every day. They will need this kind of information. There is no limit to how long you can sell this type of thing.
