Need Some Tips on Regular Business Strategies You Can do Daily? Gary Christensen Has Just What You're Looking For.

In this issue, I thought it might be helpful to take a look at what I do weekly...those things that I feel have contributed to my small measure of success.

1. Ads--I continue to place more ads each week. It's an old, but true saying-- "Place an ad each day to make mailorder pay." Keep placing those ads that pay off (ones that show a profit). Keep looking for new places to advertise and keep placing new ads.

2. Mailings--I continue to do regular, monthly mailings. We're always looking for new names to send our offers to. Mail more circulars and you'll get more orders. "The more you tell, the more you'll sell" is also very true.

3. Past Customers--I continually re-mail to past customers. Your best source of continuing income is from your NEW offers, sent out to your OLD customers. They bought from you once and they may buy from you again. Keep reharvesting those old fields. There's more money waiting out there for you.

4. Dealers--I continually try to turn my regular BUYERS into DEALERS. When someone purchases something from you, they know you, they've tried you, and they now trust you. A relationship between you has begun. Try to recruit them as one of YOUR dealers. They can help you to reach new buyers that you wouldn't reach any other way. We are always attempting to turn our buyers into new dealers who can then market our products to still others. They help to multiply our efforts AND add to our income.

5. Reinvesting--I always put some of my profits back into my business. I reinvest in more stamps, more printing, more ads, etc. If, following the "harvest you don't "plant more seeds," there won't be another harvest later. If you don't keep buying ads and keep mailing flyers, you can't expect a full mailbox daily.

6. Expansion--I constantly am thinking up new ads and new offers. Test out your new ideas and new ads before you "jump in with both feet" but always be seeking new things to offer your past customers. Keep trying to develop YOUR OWN products...things for which YOU can be the one and only SOURCE. Once you're a SOURCE for a product, you can sell both retail and wholesale. THAT'S where the BIG MONEY is. You can sell to customers AND to dealers and then YOUR mailbox will be full every day.
