Every young person has a valuable contribution to make to the world. Don't let anyone convince you that you're too young to follow your dream. You're the perfect age to become an entrepreneur, an inventor, a sports star, a politician, or anything else you want to be.
Here's why I believe now is the perfect time for you to become an entrepreneur:
1. You're old enough. You've had practice being responsible, both at home and at school.2. You're ready to handle money. You may already have a bank account, and you like to set financial goals.
3. You're mature enough to understand and follow accepted safety practices.
4. You have plenty of extra time to devote to your business ideas.
5. You aren't risking your livelihood. If your business plans don't succeed right away, your parents are still there to provide a roof over your head and food to eat.
6. You're enthusiastic. When you have a goal, you use your energy to overcome obstacles and solve problems.
7. You're creative. Your fresh thinking often creates new products, services and ideas.
8. You're young enough that adults still like to help you. Most adults enjoy helping a hard-working young person.
So there's no sense putting it off any longer. Now is the time to begin thinking like an entrepreneur!
