If you want to succeed in mail order or multi-level marketing, there is one rule that you must understand. In order to receive the response that you require to make a profit, you absolutely must send out a professional and successful-looking mail package.
The person who receives your offer will also be receiving dozens of others. Many offers look like garbage. Only a few till be professionally prepared and convey the instant image of success. Only these few will command attention and bring in the orders. The rest will fail. Why? To answer that question, just take a look at your incoming mail.
Most offers you receive will look as if they came from a amateur working from their kitchen table. These offers will immediately tell the whole world that the sender is not successful and is not making any money. These are offers which are photocopied, hand-addressed, placed in cheap envelopes, using rubber-stamped return addresses or no return address at all.
People are too smart to respond to these poorly prepared mailings. They know they'll be wasting their money by responding to an offer from someone who is obviously not successful. If your offer is poorly prepared, folks simply won't take it seriously and respond. They will, however, listen to someone who appears to be successful and making money.
Always remember that your offer will be competing for attention with dozens and dozens of other offers. Unless you send out a professionally prepared mailing, you have absolutely no chance of succeeding in direct mail.
